FAQ's

  • When do I need to book by? - The deadline for ordering postal weekend rentals is normally 3pm on Wednesday. We often spot on our instagram when closing time is, but will vary between 12-3pm. If you book after this time we will post your rental, but you will not be liable for any refunds due to postal delays. Ideally please get in touch with us if you plan on booking after this time. Local pickup bookings can be placed up until 5pm Friday - please get in contact if you would like an urgent booking after this time. 

 

  • Do you offer try-ons? - We offer postal try ons at a cost of $30 incl return post. We can on occasion take in person try-ons - please note we are a home based business so please get in contact if you would like an in person try-on. 

 

  • How do postal try-ons work? - Postal try ons can only be carried out during week days when a garment does not have an upcoming weekend rental. Please contact us via instagram or email with the date of your event and we will endeavour to organise a try on prior to this date - the more notice you are able to give us the more likely we can organise a postal try on. 

 

  • Can I book an extended rental period? - Yes you can, however our booking system is not currently set up for this. Please get in contact with the dates you require the garment for and we can provide costs for this period. 

 

  • What does it mean in the description where it says size S but fits sizes 8-12, for example? - This indicates that the garment is labeled as size small, but due to the style, stretch or fit, we have deemed it could accommodate a range of sizes. We do however recommend getting in contact if you are unsure on size as we do not offer refunds for incorrect fit.

 

  • When will my garment be sent? - Rentals for the weekend are shipped using overnight post on Tuesday and/or Wednesday. Weekday rentals will be shipped at least 2 days prior to your event day. 

 

  • How do I know if a garment is available? - On the garment page you are interested in renting, click the 'reserve my day' button to view the rental calendar. If you are unable to click on your event date or the day immediately after this means the garment is already booked. If you are able to click on the date of your event and the calendar is not blocked immediately after then YAY! your garment is available for for this date.

 

  • Which date should I select when booking a rental? - Please select the date of your event and when you intend to wear the garment. Our rental system will automatically block out the dates either side for your rental period. 

 

  • When do I need to return my rental? - All rentals must be returned on the next working day before 3pm following your event. Simply place the garment in the provided prepaid bag and take it to a NZ post shop or depot to ensure proper tracking (not a dropbox). 

 

  • What do I do once I have worn my garment? - Simply place the garment and care card into the prepaid return bag and drop off to a NZ post shop or depot. Please do not attempt to wash/clean or repair the garment. 

 

  • What do I do if I damage a garment? - Accidents do happen so please get in contact with us to let us know, once the garment has arrived back and we have assessed the damages we will let you know the repair costs you will need to pay. In the event that the garment is damaged beyond repair, you will be liable to pay the full retail price for a replacement dress.

 

  • What if I don't wear the garment? - Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds for rentals that do not fit or if you decide not to wear them. Renting an outfit carries inherent risks that should be considered when making a selection.
